
With a diverse background, Meghan Wier brings an experienced leadership background to the technical acumen of the BizNetix team.
After graduating with a BFA from Ithaca College, Meghan moved back to her home town of Rochester, NY where she worked for Geva Theatre, and The Sutherland Group. Later she took on the role of Director of Corporate Relations for The American Heart Association.
Mrs. Wier currently oversees numerous functions within BizNetix, including Sales and Search Engine Optimization. Meghan is also involved in a variety of community and business organizations including as a Board Member of the March of Dimes, and the Brighton's Best branch of BNI. In 2005 Ms. Wier was nominated for the Athena Award, which recognizes women-leaders in the Rochester area.
Meghan has guest-lectured at local colleges and universities, and has been interviewed numerous times by local television, radio and newspapers about her role in small business, leadership and mentorship, as well as on the history of technology and current trends. Her writing can be found in Business Strategies magazine and on numerous blogs. Additionally, Meghan belongs to the Business X Team, a group of entrepreneurs who conduct training workshops for business owners on teamwork, leadership and using SEO and the Web to build their businesses.
